The machine needs to be leak tested before putting your product into the machine. Do this by filling the product containers with water to the "max" line. If the canister is leaking, empty the water. Remove the leaking canister by lifting slightly in the front, while pulling the canister towards you. Dry off the canister and dry off the white, round seal in the back. Reseat the canister and leak test again.
If you have purchased our slush mix, it comes 1/2 diluted. So, empty the bottle of flavor into the machine, then fill the bottle full of water and empty that into the machine. The machine will take 1-2 hours to freeze, and ambient temperature plays a HUGE part in the length of time it takes. The machine is recommended for indoor use only, and the manufacturer specifies that the machine must be operated in temperatures under 80 degrees.
Plug in the machine, and ensure both augers turn, and that the display reads "Ice" on both sides.
To clean the machine, simply empty the remaining product, and then flush the canisters once or twice with water. Clean out the drip tray, and the black carrying tray of any spills. Wipe the outside of the machine. We will do the major cleaning and disinfecting upon return.
